TRANSTAINER® RTG
PACECO®-MITSUI TRANSTAINER® cranes are among the most productive and reliable yard cranes. They improve port productivity, and have low maintenance requirements for higher crane availability.
TRANSTAINER® cranes are mainly available in two forms: Rubber-Tire Gantry (RTG) and Rail-Mounted Gantry (RMG) cranes. PACECO® provides a variety of each crane. RTG cranes are available in a variety of wheel configurations, most commonly in 8-wheel or 16-wheel designs.
TRANSTAINER® cranes have evolved from a conventional large diesel engine driven unit to a hybrid battery/diesel genset driven unit popular in the market today. PACECO® is now developing the next generation of Hydrogen Fuel Cell/ Battery Hybrid RTG.
